Social Program

To provide a change of pace from scientific sessions, delegates and their guests will have many opportunities to meet socially and to renew or develop friendships. Magnificent venues, fine wines, delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere will ensure evenings of entertainment and memories to take home.

International Early Psychosis Film Festival
This inaugural event will showcase short films from early psychosis intervention programmes and organisations from around the world which deal with early psychosis and related mental health issues. Early psychosis programmes and organisations are encouraged to enter any short films they would like to present to an international audience. All types of styles will be considered, and from any point of view, be it consumer, clinician or a family supporter perspective. The top films will premiere on the evening of Sunday 19th October, at the official Conference Welcome Reception, at the National Gallery of Victoria. Come along and be treated to a visual feast of unique, creative and inspiring short films all working to encourage awareness, compassion and understanding in the community. For more information on this dynamic event, or to enter your programme’s short film, please email lbird@unimelb.edu.au
